In a new spotlight series we’ll be connecting with some of our top investors to explorer their past, present and future to better understand how our community is investing and gain deeper insight into the best practices that have allowed them to climb our leaderboard. We hope you enjoy our first piece with our top investor Hamba.
Tell us a little about yourself.
Hello, I am Hamba, 26-year-old guy living in Germany. I am working in the I.T. area and thats what basically led me into cryptocurrency.
How did you discover blockchain investing?
It was around 2010 when I started mining a little but seeing my CPU power it wasn’t much and I stopped. Later I ordered a “butterfly labs miner” and started to mine a little better.
Which assets do you hold in your portfolio?
The oldest coin I am holding would be PIVX. I still think it has high potential. Apart from that the usual candidates Ethereum, Cardano, Gentarium, Graphcoin and Tezos.
Why did you choose these projects?
I listened to the feeling of my guts after reading about them basically.
Any new projects you’re excited about?
I am excited about VEIL starting mining operations on new year. Also started to read about the TWINS project, which also starts on new year.
Any advice you’d give to people that are new to blockchain investing?
Be careful in what you invest in. Always do your own research (DYOR) and don’t listen to low post counts on Bitcointalk for example.
